When we first met Merilee we were under a lot of stress as we had a little one on the way and we were on a bit of a deadline before her arrival. From the moment we met Merilee we knew she was a perfect match for us because she "got" us.  She understood our needs and her honesty, professionalism and patience eased the stress of being first time home buyers.  She went above and beyond and we loved how personable, genuine and caring she was. Her energy is infectious and after spending so much time together we're glad to call her our friend.  Even after a year of helping us she still checks in on us just to see how were doing. She helped us find our perfect home where we can retire and grow old in and for that we will be forever grateful.

Merilee helped me sell my mother’s townhouse in Richmond which was complicated since it was an estate sale and I had family members living in the townhouse from time to time during the process.  Merilee did an excellent job from beginning to end, giving me an accurate picture of the market, helping to present the townhouse in the most attractive way, stick handling the logistics with family and negotiating an excellent price for me in a multiple offer scenario.

 Merilee demonstrated an excellent understanding of the technical issues surrounding the sale process, had a persuasive but personable persona with the other realtors interested in the property and helped me navigate the process in tight timelines. 

Merilee also helped me find and purchase a smaller condominium in Burnaby.  She found properties for me to look at and then vetted the strata documents very carefully – in some cases finding significant issues that made the property unattractive.  She helped find a solid building with a good maintenance history and, again, negotiated very effectively with the realtor selling the unit.  Given the strong market for entry level units at the time, I was tempted to pay the asking price or even go above that price.  Merilee determined that in the particular circumstances that was not necessary, and actually negotiated a price significantly under the asking price, saving me a considerable amount of money.

 I should also mention that when Merilee was not available for certain aspects of the transactions, her partner Marina helped and did an excellent job.
